FROM THE SPIRIT OF 77 ARCHIVE – Abandoned Subway Stations

Here’s a Spirit of 77 extra that was previously only available to people on our mailing list – a new Location you can add into any adventure.

New Location – Abandoned Subway Stations

Description – Different than a normal subway station, abandoned subway stations have either been discarded from regular use by the MTA or had never been fully completed. They feature the same architecture and general appearance but are more often taken by the local homeless or underground communities.

Names – 91th Street Station, Chambers Street, City Hall Loop

Features – Abandoned MTA booth, graffiti-covered walls, broken wall tiles, tarnished brass fixtures, rusted subway rails

Moves – Backdoor to the City – Although hidden and potentially difficult to find, abandoned subway stations can provide a secret entrance to the underground subway system and sewer routes. Good to lose someone chasing you, but also good to get lost in.

  1. LOVDEE Spirit of 77; my fave PBtA game! Actually got my wife into rpg due to it (after 30 yrs of trying!).
We give an absolute MUST to Rad Planet; we’re also playing 2 characters from that in our at-home (sigh) game.

PLEASE do Rad Planet. Only suggestions are to develop everything fully. Thanks!

    Sincerely,

    Joel Conner
PS–I plan to order several copies of the print version of Spirit of 77 for my I-hope-by-fall game group to use.
